Naomi touched her wet bed and she started crying, where did this problem come from? Would it ever stop? She had prayed and tried all kinds of medication but it would never go away.
Naomi was a former beauty queen and the daughter of one of the richest men in the world, she had everything at her beck and call yet Naomi had a problem that money could not solve no matter how much she and her family tried; Naomi was a bed wetter at 26, it was the shame of her life and she would do anything and pay any amount of money for the problem to go away.
Naomi couldn't sleep over at friends' houses or sleep with anyone on the same bed, all her friends thought it was a rich kid behavior but they would never know it was because she was protecting a shameful secret.
Although Naomi and her family were devout Christians, they were not born again. Different pastors would come and pray but they never told anyone exactly what they were praying about because they didn't want Naomi's secret to be out in the open, they knew that would kill her.
"Good morning Madam, is everything fine?" Naomi smiled "thank you John, take me to the mall". "Madam I am sorry for this question I want to ask you, have you given your life to Jesus Christ? I know you were born a Christian but have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior". Naomi was taken aback but suddenly it dawned on her like a bright light, she would give her life to Jesus! She was sure all would be fine from now on. "John please take me to your pastor"
Pastor Richard was reading his bible when the Holy Spirit told him that a woman was coming to see him and all he had to do was lead her to Christ and she would be healed. In 20 minutes John and Naomi walked in and Pastor Richard said to her "God said I should tell you that as you give your life to Jesus, you will be healed." Naomi started crying and got on her knees and she was led to Christ. It's been 5 years since that day and Naomi has never wetted the bed again. God healed her, covered her shame and kept her secret.
Beloved if you are wise, I need you to listen to me, God has stopped coming down from heaven, He uses MEN to do whatever He wants to do on the earth. My mentor said something very profound, he said "80% of what God will tell you will be through people".
The people around you determine the quality of your life, wise people surround themselves with Godly relationships. God is telling someone close to you what you are not hearing, God is giving someone the idea you need to succeed in your business! God built us for relationships but you must be wise to build the right one. Any relationship that builds your faith and moves you closer to God is the right one, any relationship that makes you want to offend God and puts fear in your heart is the wrong one.
Naaman the Syrian General in 2 Kings 5 would have remained a leper for life with all his money if he didn't have a slave girl that knew Prophet Elisha. Don't discriminate against people, God can send you help from anywhere! It is wisdom to treat people with respect and honor, your help can come from anywhere. May God help us all in Jesus name.
