Hatred Is An Anointing

"God fight my battles, kill my enemies, they have done me harm, let them die!" Kate was going through a very trying time at her place of work, her colleagues conspired against her because there was a promotion coming and she was the most eligible and the most qualified.

The challenge she had was that she was younger than most of them and she had the advantage of a good education, by 23 she had her Msc from an Ivy League school. If she got the promotion, her colleagues would be under her office and they were desperate to make sure that did not happen.

The day finally came and the promotion went to another person who was not qualified but whom everyone was comfortable with. Kate felt very bad because justice was perverted and she felt like a victim of office politics.

The new boss knew that she had Kate's job and the best thing to do was to frustrate Kate. She did everything to make Kate redundant and gave her menial tasks. After 6 months, Kate decided to quit.

She felt very bitter and victimized and it seemed as though evil people were prospering. Some months later, Kate started her own business and began to thrive, in just few months, she had become a millionaire, she finally had peace and career fulfillment.

Beloved, someone may have hurt you and you may have been treated unjustly, you may be looking forward to the time your enemy will suffer but God is smarter than you! Sometimes He will not do anything to them but He will bless you! That is what David meant when he said in Psalm 23:5 (ESV) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

The bible also talked about Leah in Genesis 29:31(ESV) When the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.

Hatred is an anointing that provokes God to bless you! Are you hated where you are? Trust God to shield you and make things right, it will work out in your favour. God is just and faithful.

  1. I understand where you are going with the post and what you want to bring out from it,
Just like Joseph, hatred can push you your destiny fulfillment.
But, sometimes some people pray for a particular person not to get to a particular level because they will make their lives difficult.
I have one or two bosses who are not yet At the High level but we all know in the office that if they mistakenly get there we are all in soup.
We aren't working actively or praying against it, but We were all so happy when someone else was transferred to our branch and given the position.
In short, sometimes, if your colleagues do not like you, you may also have a fault.
