Your Principles Decide Your Income

"Nawa o, abeg teach me what you do. Did they not employ us on the same day and are we not earning the same salary? How come you have enough money for 2 Mercedes Benz cars and this beautiful house? I won't leave your house until you tell me your secret! Ahan! Kai! God de o"
Francis looked at his colleague and smiled. They were both junior staff in their organisation, their salary was not enough to pay house rent or even a car but Francis learnt that God did not need his job to bless him. Francis' salary had not increased in 3 years yet he lived in a house worth millions of Naira and the least money he made every month was his salary.
What did Francis know that his colleagues did not know?
Francis learnt to do 3 things:
1. He tithed from his salary: I hear lots of people saying tithes are Old Testament and I laugh, you are not doing your pastor a favor when you bring your tithe to church. You are doing yourself a favor! You cannot compare the results of a faithful tither to a non tither never! It may take a while to see results but the truth is tithers have no equal. The richest man to ever walk the earth after King Solomon was John D. Rockefeller and he was a tither! This was what he said " I never would have been able to tithe the first million dollars I ever made if I had not tithed my first salary which was $1.50 per week"

2. He learnt to sow seeds for a specific harvest: Your seed is a bridge to your next level. A man wants a baby but he gives his wife sperm, a farmer wants an orange tree but he plants an orange seed. You give a taxi man money and tell him where you want to go and he takes you there. Never sow seed without instructing it about what it should do. Can you remember those home videos where they go to see an herbalist? He always tells them to speak to the money and tell it what they want to happen. Your money represents you because you spend the best part of every month earning it.
Whenever you have a need, take a seed and give it an instruction and watch God do His part.
3. He sowed into the life of his pastor and those he admired. A seed is not always money, it could be time, service, loyalty, respect, honor, favor, gifts and so on. You will never attract anything you don't respect.
According to bible scholars, Elisha served Elijah for 22 years and he got a double portion of Elijah's anointing. Whenever you see something you admire in the life of others, celebrate it and yours will come.
The bible says in Ephesians 6;8 (NLT)Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.
My 20 year dream is to see the Gospel preached to a billion people through the social media. You too can be a social media evangelist, kindly share and repost this Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others can be blessed just like you have been blessed. Thank you for reading. Shalom
