Your Help Comes From God!

"Are you not the personal assistant to the minister? You don't have a car and no money? Nawa o, your oga just gave me a 5 million Naira contract now and I just met him"
Louis was very happy when he got the call from his mentor to become his personal assistant the moment he was named a minister. He began to day dream about all the good things that would happen to him, he would get a car, build his house and travel abroad as many times as possible.
Louis was very close to the minister, he was always in the minister's office and they always sat side by side in the car yet with all these, nothing was flowing. The minister would by pass Louis and give lucrative assignments to other assistants but all he let Louis do was just sit down.
Louis was a Christian and to please the minister he would miss church on Sundays and go late to mid week services yet nothing was showing, Louis had to lobby other assistants to get some money, it was very humiliating. Louis could never understand what went wrong, what did Louis do wrong?
Many of us have been at that place where we felt that someone we were close to would help us because they had money and we had a good relationship with them yet they did nothing to help us.
The bible says in Psalm 121;1 (ESV) I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
2My help comes from the LORD,
who made heaven and earth.

If you are a child of God and you look to any man for help, 100 out of 100 times you will be disappointed! God wants you to recognize Him as your Source, He wants you to know that anyone He uses is a resource.
God doesn't want you to make any man an idol. What was that thing you needed? You will realize that the moment you started looking only to God to make it happen, the answer to your prayers came! God is the All Sufficient God, He is the God of More Than Enough, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the silver and the gold belongs to our Jehovah, the cattle upon a thousand hills belong to Him!
You will never have anything God didn't give you, recognize that it is God's favor working through that person, don't idolize them. Thank God for them and the favor will increase.
My 20 year dream is to see the Gospel preached to a billion people through the social media. You too can be a social media evangelist, kindly share and repost this Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others can be blessed just like you have been blessed. Thank you for reading. Shalom
