Go For the Blessing

Nelson is a real estate agent who is passionate about rising to the top in his profession. To develop himself, he would read lots of books on real estate.
He had just finished reading Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich and he was on fire. He said to himself that he wanted to sell a million dollars worth of property in one day. Nelson was a Christian but he didn't even pray about this one, the book had told him he could do whatever he set his heart on.
Nelson put his strategy in place and began to sell his pitch to potential clients. In the past, Nelson would make at least 4 sales in a day but on this day, nothing came in despite his passion.
At 7pm, Nelson knelt down at his desk to pray and go home as was his custom. As he prayed, the Holy Spirit instructed him to start praising God, Nelson did this for an hour and suddenly his phone rang. A company was relocating to Nigeria and they needed houses for all their staff;their budget was a million dollars and they transferred the money to Nelson that evening.
The bible says in Proverbs 10:22 (GWT) It is the LORD's blessing that makes a person rich, and hard work adds nothing to it.
If money came by hard work, bricklayers, mechanics and coal miners should be the richest people in the world. Don't believe all these books that tell you that you can do it by yourself, the truth is you cannot! Only God can make things happen for you. I have also learnt that a minute in Gods presence is better than an hour of hustle.
When you spend time in Gods presence, He will let the things that you were supposed to be chasing after to chase after you. Hard work is important but go after the blessing and the presence of God, it's the best investment ever.
My 20 year dream is to see the Gospel preached to a billion people through the social media. You too can be a social media evangelist, kindly share and repost this Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others can be blessed just like you have been blessed. Thank you for reading. Shalom
