Let Go and Let God

Tears filled Yvonne's eyes as Michael walked away. She wanted to call him back and make him stay, something must be terribly wrong with her for letting the sexiest and the most handsome man she had ever met walk away from her life but she had to; as sweet as he was, as special as he always made her feel, Michael was a bad influence on her life.
It had gotten to the point where she had to make a decision between her man and God. She loved God but Michael was her weak point, she could never say no to him when he looked at her with those seductive bedroom eyes and kissed her neck, she always melted like butter no matter how hard she tried.
Her relationship was affecting her spiritual life, she had tried times without number to preach to Michael but he would only laugh at her and touch her in those places only he knew and before she knew what was happening, she would have had sex with him again.
Letting Michael go was the toughest decision she ever had to make but she had peace because she knew she had done the right thing. From that moment on, her relationship with God bloomed and she became a firebrand for God.
Two years later, she attended a conference and when the speaker of the conference was introduced, her heart skipped a beat; it was Michael, he had become a powerful evangelist, his sermon ended with many testimonies of healing and answered prayers.
After the conference, Yvonne waited in line to see Michael, it was a long queue but when he saw her, he left everyone and came to Yvonne, fell on his knees, brought out a beautiful ring and asked her to marry him. He told her the Holy Spirit asked him to come prepared because Yvonne would be at the meeting and she was to be his wife. She couldn't believe her ears and eyes but she said "Yes". She was so happy; she let go of Michael and God returned him to her as good as new.
Beloved, what is that area of your life that God is asking you to submit to Him? Your job? Your money? Your time? Your relationship? Your talent? Vengeance on someone who has hurt you? Whatever it is that God is telling you to let go off, do it! God will owe no man, Isaiah 45:19 (KJV) says: I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
God doesn't want to cause you pain, He wants to improve what you have. Five loaves of bread and two fishes in the hands of Jesus fed 5,000 people. A boat which was used to fish unsuccessfully all night began to sink with fish when handed over to Jesus. If you will hand over to Jesus today, you will see what He will do with your sacrifice, He will blow your mind! Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.
