Seed Faith

Mallam Bako wiped his brows as he picked up his hoe, his body was glistening with sweat under the hot sun but he didn't mind because he had just planted all the seeds he had, he looked back at the work of his hands and smiled satisfactorily.
In less than a year, all those seeds would become big tubers of yam, he could feel the thousands of naira he would make on his palms, he could hear his Yoruba customers arriving with their big trucks from Lagos begging him to give them a good discount. He whistled joyfully as he got on his bicycle and cycled back home.
Jesus used natural things to explain spiritual things, that's why we have so many parables in the Bible. Jesus was trying to tell us that the truths of the spiritual are the truths of the physical.
Have you ever asked yourself what happens to a seed when it is planted? Does anyone know how a mango seed produces a tree of mangoes? Scientists have tried but they have fallen short! Does an orange seed even look like an orange?
Listen to me! The laws of sowing and reaping are real! If a farmer can plant a seed and expect to reap tubers of yam in a few months time without worrying about how the yams will grow, why do you think you cannot plant whatever you want and reap an harvest? You gave your wife sperm and in 9 months you got a baby!
The bible says in Genesis 8:22 (NLT) As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night." You can sow your way into your future!
Whatever that challenge is, you can sow your way out of it. There are 3 things you must do:
1. Pray: prayer is talking to God. Make your request known to Him.
2.Sow a seed, the bible says in Ecclesiastes 10:19 (ISV) money speaks to everything. Locate your pastor or whoever has succeeded in whatever you are going through and sow into their life.
3. Be specific: Tell them to agree with you in prayer for a specific result. A farmer does not plant yams and expect apples, be very specific for what you want.
4. Thank God for it everyday till you see results: thanking God is like watering your seeds and whatever you thank God for multiplies.
Go and be the best God has called you to be.
