Godwin was a very devoted christian, he
never missed a church service and he was a worker as well until God rewarded
his faithfulness by giving him a very good job.
Now, Godwin hardly comes to church, Sunday is usually the only
time he has to rest, so he would try to watch TBN or follow the service online
but most times, he sleeps throughout Sunday.
Tiwa was the prayer leader in her church, everyone knew she was
on fire for God. She had been praying for a husband and it was not long before God gave her the hawtest brother in
the church. Tiwa is now married with a baby and because she has to take care of
the home and the family, she really doesn't have time to pray like before.
Beloved, anything you put above God is
an idol, it could be a job, a husband, a wife, money etc. You will lose
anything that replaces God in your life. The bible says in Exodus 3:20 “You
shall have no other gods before me".
God gave you that beautiful
job and that wonderful spouse, if you use God and love things, you will
eventually lose. The right thing to do is to love God and use things. As long
as God is number one in your life, you can never go wrong. The greatest
commandments in the Bible are stated in Luke 10:27:
1. Love the Lord your God
with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with
all your mind'; and,
2. 'Love your neighbor as
yourself
In this month of June, I
pray that we will put God first in all that we do and our lives will continue
to shine like the sun in Jesus name. Happy New Month
