Jesus Gave Me A Dream Job

I am a graduate of Law from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OSU). I prefer to call it the hustler's university because nothing comes easy in OSU. It was just a case of ‘everybody for himself, God for all'. I was not the unserious type in university but somehow I managed to finish with a 3rd Class. I moved on having faith in God but sometimes a voice would ask me if I could ever make it.

I went to law school and thank God I finished with a 2.2 (I need not mention that a 2.2 in law school is like a first class in university). I read like I would die for the examinations. I must let you know that I was expecting my first child by the time I gained admission into the law school and I had my baby before I started my exams. It wasn’t easy; I missed many classes due to my state. God has always been my rock all along but this time I knew it could only be God. Most of those who tutored me in preparation for the law school exam had a 3rd class but here I was with a 2.2.

Buki & Olumide: Through The Years

There is something about the right woman that will make you wait for as long as it takes and follow her to the ends of the earth because you know from the bottom of your heart that your future cannot start without that woman.

Buki and Olumide dated for 9 years! When Buki relocated to the United States, Olumide relocated as well, both of them will be back in Nigeria to tie the knots. This is a story of love, hope and above all trust and faith in Jesus Christ. These people knew what they wanted and they made sure no obstacle was big enough to keep them apart. Buki and Olumide. We celebrate you. Enjoy...

Ikechukwu Uzoma: Bagging A First Class Law Degree and Loving God

We are very excited to be sharing the testimony of Ikechukwu Uzoma, he was one of the only four students who had a first class in law school in a year where over 6000 students failed.

In this interview, Ikechukwu shares with us on how he gave his life to Christ and the secret to his success.   Enjoy...

How did you become a born again Christian?

I got born again during a family devotion on the  21st of August 2006. This was after I had answered to several altar calls but found myself back to my old habits. On that day, my Dad explained what it meant to be born again and the fact that my old habits may rear their ugly heads but I must subject myself to God’s word daily and my mind will begin a process of renewal till I grow beyond those habits. It worked as he said and I began a journey with God that has been the foundation for all my successes.

How does it feel to be one of only 4 law school graduates with first class in Nigeria?

I feel very honoured and favoured by God to be one of the four students that graduated with First Class Honours out of a class of over 6000 students. I have been overwhelmed by the result since October 15, 2014 when it was published because I know my efforts wouldn’t have earned me that result. I feel so blessed by God and I believe it is a privilege to be singled out by grace. I remain very grateful to God!

COZA's Thanksgiving Service at New Church Building

"When we drove into Abuja just six years ago, we did not know anywhere, all we knew was the city gate, we probably knew two people in the whole city but see what God has done in just six years"

Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo

The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly's (COZA) 2014 end of year thanksgiving service will forever be etched in the memories of those who attended the spectacular service. It was a thanksgiving service full of praises and worship to the Most High God who had done wonderful things for COZA and her members by moving them to their own auditorium in just six years of ministry in Abuja, Nigeria.

Gbemi & Siji; When A King Meets His Queen

Siji was one of my groomsmen and he told me few days after my wedding, "I am going to propose to her"and he proposed a week after my wedding. I guess the thought had been on his mind but when I met Gbemi, I knew why he was getting married, he had met the one woman who had the key to his heart, Gbemi on her part had met her king.
Ladies, until you see that man as a king, he is not the one but then, it takes a queen to recognise a king and Gbemi is no doubt a queen.

This is one pre wedding story and pictures you will not forget in a long time. Enjoy...

How we met - Gbemi's story
It was on my birthday 11th of November, 2012. My chief bridesmaid and birthday mate - Demidun, decided to chill at her house to celebrate our birthday, before going to the motherless babies' home. We were at her house with some friends of hers, my sister and a mutual friend, when he walked in among others LOL and I noticed the black guy in green  trads (I love green, but the one he wore was just not it. LOL) and I was like, "mehn he is black o", (in a nice way though).

After a while, we stepped out to check out some outfits his friend was marketing. He came out also and got me a shirt since I mentioned it was my birthday (awww how nice right). We exchanged Blackberry pins but really didn’t chat much; guess we weren't in the chatting mood (wonder why).
