Salewa and Dare; Predestined from Heaven

"Everything you will need in your life is already around you, simply awaiting your recognition of it" - Dr. Mike Murdock (The Law of Recognition)

I cannot resist a beautiful love story and this is a spectacular one. Salewa and Dare attended the same schools from primary school till university but they did not start talking till 2013. Today, they are engaged and will be walking down the aisle very soon. They thought to share their pre wedding pictures with our viewers all over the world. They posed for the pre wedding pictures at the Staff School University of Ibadan where it all began in the early 90s. Enjoy...

Rev. Laurie Idahosa Publishes Book for Women

Rev. Laurie Idahosa is the wife of Bishop Faith Emmanuel Benson Idahosa,President of Benson Idahosa University and only son of the celebrated late Archbishop Bishop Benson Idahosa. We interviewed him on this blog sometime last year, you can read the interview here. Many women need to learn from Rev. Laurie, she is the mother of three handsome boys and she is still a very beautiful woman
Rev. Laurie has an amazing story to tell, I believe it is what informed her writing the book; Every Woman's Journey. We will be reviewing the book very soon and free copies will also be given away. Watch this space for updates.

Boko Haram, Jonathan and the Northern Elders by Femi Fani Kayode

“I am going to marry out any woman who is twelve years old, and if she is younger, I will marry her out at the age of nine. You are all in danger. I am the one who captured all those girls and will sell all of them. Slavery is allowed in my religion, and I shall capture people and make them slaves. We are on our way to Abuja and we shall also visit the South. I am going to kill all the Imams and other Islamic clerics in Nigeria because they are not Muslims since they follow democracy and constitution. It is Allah that instructed us, until we soak the ground of Nigeria with Christian blood, and so-called Muslims contradicting Islam. We will kill and wonder what to do with their smelling corpses. This is a war against Christians and democracy and their constitution’’.

#BringBackOurGirls

I was once told by my mother that nothing compares to the pain of childbirth, nothing is more joyous than watching that child grow, yet nothing is as tormenting as the death or the disappearance of a child. We are all appalled by the kidnapping of 276 secondary school girls by Boko Haram. Mr. Abubakar Shekau who is the face of Boko Haram has come on air to boast to the world that he would sell our girls, stories abound of some of the girls being raped as many as 15 times in a day; recently a video of one of the girls being stoned to death was aired.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time once again to lend our voice to this cause, it is time to unite as one people to fight this evil that threatens the very existence of our country. Boko Haram like the Apartheid of South Africa and the Holocaust which killed six million Jews during the World War II is the desire of few demon possessed people who seek to trample on our fundamental human rights. To this like in times past, we say “NO!” We will stand and fight till our girls come back home, we will stand and fight till the filth called Boko Haram is annihilated, we will stand and fight till Sambisa forest is like Hiroshima and Nagasaki, we will stand and fight till nobody bears the name Shekau, we will stand and fight till terrorism is no longer associated with our great country. Lend your voice, put up a picture, tweet the hashtag, join the supporters, the time is now to #BringBackOurGirls

Boko Haram And The Chibok Affair: The Emerging And Uncomfortable Facts by Femi Fani-Kayode

Now that the operational leadership and visible face of Boko Haram, in the person of the filth called Mr. Abubakar Shekau (aka Darul Tawheed), has finally admitted that they were responsible for the abduction of hundreds of our school girls and that they intend to “sell them in the market like slaves”, it is pertinent and necessary for us to consider some of the emerging, though uncomfortable, facts.

Shonel & Teddy; My Knight in Shining Armor

There is something about the woman you will spend the rest of your life with that makes you stare the first time you see her. It could be your heart telling you "she is the one" or it could  be your head asking "is she the one?" In all these, one factor is certain, you will stare at her as though you have never seen a woman before in your entire life. So ladies, when you see a guy staring at you so hard and he is handsome and he looks like all you want in a man, just walk up to him and say "yes I am the one" (LOL).
We celebrate Shonel and Teddy as they will be getting married on May 8 and 10, 2014; Shonel is a very pretty, Godly lady and I am excited she found her knight. They decided to share their story and pictures with our viewers all over the world. Enjoy...
